Ameer Abdullah’s Three Tips for Mental Toughness:
Tip #1: Be a Competitor
Competition is all around us. Whenever two or more parties are striving toward a goal that cannot be shared, there will be a need to compete. Being a competitor means coming prepared and bringing your A-game to everything you do.
Tip #2: Embrace Adversity
“No one goes through life without hardship.”
Resilience is the ability to adapt in the face of adversity. Whether it’s financial issues, relationship problems, difficulties at work, or even the tragic loss of a loved one, no one is exempt from challenges. Maintaining mental toughness can help us to overcome difficult situations and transform your challenges into motivation.
Tip #3: Come to the FREC
