Tax Season is in full swing, and with that April 17th deadline looming, many of us are still scrambling to file. To add to the annual scheduled panic, the already complicated tax codes have been further convoluted by a brand new tax plan approved just before income tax season. If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed as the filing clock winds down, you’re in luck. Our partners from Accounting Aid Society are here to help!

 

For the past 45 years, Accounting Aid has been serving taxpayers and small businesses in Detroit and southeast Michigan with their volunteer income tax assistance (VITA)program. Their trusted service has yielded over $375 million in tax refunds to individuals and small businesses in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Livingston counties.

In short, AAS has the experience, knowledge, and expertise to help you and your family to get the most out this income tax season.
